Liminality is a hyper-realistic and immersive single player psychological horror game in UE5, aiming to have open world elements, immersive exploration, and a new experience of psychological & action horror that may not always follow industry standards.

Levels will be expansive and immersive, while offering some balance of challenging puzzles, enticing entity interactions, and explorative potential.

Frequently Asked Questions

The current plans are to release on windows. If capable, we will port to Linux and VR. Depending on future publishers, we may provide support for Mac and/or Consoles.
We are still early in development so it is difficult to place a specific date for release. However, we are planning to release a public version sometime within 2026.
We do not have any plans for multiplayer, as Liminality is planned to be played in a single player format.
It is still early, but due to the planned extent of the game, we are expecting to release at ~15-20 USD.

We pride ourselves on creating hyper-realistic environments to the best of our abilities, constantly improving the look of our levels day after day.

Featuring uniquely unsettling environment design and level layouts, we attempt to capture the feeling of liminal spaces as real as we feel we can, even if it means restarting a place over and over until it's better than we ever thought it could be.
